Vision & Goals
Objectives
The Network works to promote the principles of justice, the rule of law, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise among Arab women judges. It also seeks to broaden understanding of issues concerning women in general and women judges in particular through the following objectives:
- Support the participation of Arab women in judicial institutions and promote equal opportunities for women to hold judicial positions.
- Strengthen the rule of law and highlight the professional competence of Arab women judges at both the national and regional levels by showcasing their contributions and achievements in the legal and judicial fields, while enhancing public awareness of their professional and societal roles.
- Coordinate with judicial institutions across Arab countries to support and empower women judges, pave the way for their advancement to senior judicial positions, and strengthen their participation at both the regional and international levels.
- Promote cooperation with governmental and non-governmental organizations whose activities contribute to achieving the objectives set forth in the Network’s framework.
- Provide the necessary support to establish judicial networks for women across Arab societies and strengthen channels of cooperation, communication, and professional exchange.
- Organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and training programs, while establishing channels of coordination with relevant regional and international organizations.
- Undertake the legal and administrative measures necessary to achieve the objectives of the Network and implement its activities in accordance with its approved framework.
Vision
Leading women judges driving change toward more gender-responsive judicial institutions, contributing to the fair application of the law and advancing women’s access to justice across the Arab region.
